So here they are, my dreaded progress pics:
The comparison actually makes me pretty happy, it’s good to be able to see the changes. As you can see I still have a long way to go, but I’ve started and that’s a step. And hey, I don’t look like I’m pregnant anymore, so that’s a bonus! That sad sack of a dress is being relegated to night wear only, immediately! My husband is so lucky!
I tried to weigh myself a few days ago but the scale is out of juice and I think it may stay that way for a while. It’s nice to not give an inanimate object the ability to lift me up or tear me down in a matter of seconds every day. That’s what my computer is for! I’m just joking, I rarely use my desktop these days. 😉
I did measure myself today, since March 29th I’ve lost about 5 inches total from my waist, hips, arms and thighs. I would guess I’ve lost about double that since May 7th, maybe more. My belly is much smaller. Sweet! As far as weight loss goes I would guess I’m down about 20lbs in my first six weeks. And now, the real work begins! The next 20 is going to be tougher, and by the end of it so will I!
Have I mentioned that I have yet to count or measure a damn thing (other than myself of ingredients for baking), and that I look forward to everything I eat? Life is good!

June 18, 2013*whistles* great job! I also love that you’re not worried about weighing. My scale is also out of juice and i’m not buying a battery, for a long time. Maybe a few months. 🙂 i already know i can lose weight with WLR (5lbs just easing into it already). Again, awesomeeee!

June 19, 2013Thanks Jess! I’m really not sure when my scale will get a new battery either. It’s back in the closet where it belongs! Haha.

June 19, 2013I’m following the Weight Loss Rebels food plan very closely. I know this kind of movement on the scale and tape is not sustainable for the long haul but for now I’ll take it!

June 18, 2013First of all…your pictures?? WOW! You look great!
I joined WLR when it first started but I’ve been waiting until after I finished my triathlon to start implementing changes. Now, I’m not sure why.
You are a huge inspiration and I can’t wait to follow your progress and learn more from you here and on the forum.

June 19, 2013Thank you so much Elena! A triathlon! What an accomplishment. It’s something on my bucket list for sure. But first, I have to learn how to swim. 🙂
